Full Job Description
The Opportunity

Verse Medical is hiring a Revenue Enablement Manager to own how our commercial team learns to sell. You will build the onboarding path, write the messaging, run call coaching, and certify every rep on the pitch. This is a hands-on individual contributor role. "Manager" describes the scope of the function, not a headcount.

We sell to health systems, discharge planners, case managers, and post-acute partners: clinical-first buyers who decide on turnaround time, reliability, and patient outcomes rather than feature lists. Our commercial team is growing faster than the informal ways we have trained it. This is our first dedicated enablement hire and the foundation of what becomes a larger function.

Success is measurable. Reps ramp faster, more of them hit quota, and the pitch holds up in front of a skeptical case manager no matter who delivers it.

What You'll Do
  • Build and run onboarding for every commercial role, covering product, market, clinical vocabulary, systems, and the pitch. Own time-to-first-deal as your primary number.
  • Write and maintain the core narrative, discovery framework, objection responses, and competitive positioning, with a single source of truth in Notion.
  • Partner with Sales Managers as your primary channel for reinforcement. Equip them with call rubrics, scorecards, and coaching guides they will actually use, and join their team meetings and 1:1s so training continues after your session ends.
  • Run a standing working session with Sales Managers to surface field gaps early, and prioritize your roadmap against what they bring rather than what you assume.
  • Run weekly call reviews in Gong, score calls against a rubric you define, and deliver specific, repeatable coaching to individual reps. Use AI to mine transcripts for the objection and loss patterns worth coaching against.
  • Define and enforce a qualification framework and stage exit criteria, in partnership with Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, and Sales Managers.
  • Translate how DME works (intake, documentation, payer requirements, delivery, patient setup) into training reps can hold a real conversation with.
  • Partner with product and product marketing to launch every new capability with positioning, talk tracks, and a demo the team has practiced.
  • Assist Sales Management with pitch certifications, role-plays, and refreshers, and retire content that is no longer accurate.
  • Own the content library, the Gong scorecards, and the AI tooling reps use to prep for calls, including driving adoption and teaching reps what to verify before they trust it.
  • Use AI to compress the gap between a field need and a shipped asset, drafting briefs, talk tracks, and summaries in days rather than weeks, with your judgment on what is accurate enough to ship.

What You Bring

Experience
  • 4+ years of combined experience in sales and sales enablement. You've carried a number yourself, or you've coached people who do and earned their respect.
  • Ownership of a ramp program end to end, not delivery of someone else's curriculum. You don't need to have managed a team, since this is an IC role, but you should have owned outcomes, not just sessions.
  • Strong project and stakeholder management. You can hold a program together across sales, marketing, product, and clinical operations without a mandate to make people do it.
  • Willingness to be the least comfortable person in the room while you learn a clinical domain, then become the person others come to.

Technical Skills
  • Gong or a comparable call recording platform, with a clear point of view on what separates a good call from a bad one.
  • Salesforce reporting. You can find where deals stall and build training against the gap rather than a hunch.
  • Hands-on use of AI tools in your day-to-day work, with examples of what you shipped faster and where they failed you.
  • Notion or a comparable knowledge system, and the discipline to maintain one source of truth.

Soft Skills
  • Strong writing. Most of this job is making complicated things short and sayable.
  • Direct, specific feedback. You can tell a rep exactly what went wrong on a call without them shutting down.
  • A bias toward shipping a usable v1 this week over a perfect program next quarter.

Bonus Points
  • Healthcare, DME, home health, or post-acute experience, or any background enabling teams that sell to clinical and operational buyers inside a health system.
  • Experience enabling a team that sells to both providers and payors, where the economic buyer and the end user are different people.
  • You've built or configured an AI assistant, agent, or custom GPT that other people relied on, with opinions on where it helped and where it produced confident nonsense.
  • First-in-seat experience. You've built an enablement function where none existed, with no budget and no team.
  • Familiarity with a formal methodology (MEDDPICC, Command of the Message, Challenger) without being religious about any of them.

The People You'll Work With

You will report to the Head of Revenue Operations. Your closest working relationship is with our Sales Managers. They own the day-to-day coaching, and your programs only stick if they carry them. You will also work daily with AEs, SDRs, account management, marketing, and clinical operations, and partner closely with Revenue Operations, who own the data that shows where training is needed.

Our stack: Salesforce, Gong, Slack, and Notion. We build much of our own GTM tooling, including AI agents on top of Salesforce and Gong.

Life at the Company

We foster a collaborative and innovative environment where every team member's contribution is valued. We offer competitive benefits, professional development opportunities, and a culture that prioritizes work-life balance and continuous improvement.
