Full Job Description
We are looking for a Revenue & Billing Operations Manager

Target total compensation ranges from $170,000 - $228,000, including a fixed annual salary of $153,000 - $188,000, an employee equity plan grant, and world-class benefits.

Equity grants are issued in good faith, subject to company policies, board approval, and individual eligibility.

About the Role:

In this impactful operational role, you'll own revenue and billing operations end-to-end, ensuring every invoice is accurate, every process scales, and every customer interaction is friction-free. In an AI-first environment where we're transforming how we serve customers and employees, this role sits at the intersection of finance, technology, and commercial strategy.

Reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer, you'll partner closely with Go-to-Market, Revenue Product & Data, Legal, and Finance to translate complex commercial arrangements into automated, scalable billing workflows. You won't just maintain the engine-you'll redesign it, leveraging AI and automation to eliminate manual work and build processes that drive Rokt's rapid growth.

This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and wants to build something that directly impacts how Rokt's customers work with Rokt. If you're the kind of person who sees a process which needs improvement and can't rest until it's fixed, automated, and documented-we want to talk to you.

Responsibilities:
  • Own billing operations end-to-end across regions and products, delivering accurate, timely invoicing and responsive billing support that clearly communicates the value of Rokt to our customers
  • Define and maintain billing policies, procedures, and quality controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency-building playbooks for new commercial arrangements as our products and models evolve
  • Drive automation relentlessly: monitor billing metrics (timeliness, error rates, credit/rebill volume), identify root causes, and implement process and system changes that eliminate manual work
  • Partner with system and data owners to ensure source-to-invoice integrity, approvals, and audit trails meet SOX and internal control requirements
  • Act as a key decision-maker for billing rules and workflows in partnership with GTM, RPD, Legal, and Finance-translating contract terms and customer requirements into scalable, automated processes
  • Support accounts receivable by providing billing evidence and context; collaborate with GTM and AR on complex issues, exceptions, and collections
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and internal Support Handbooks so billing processes are repeatable, auditable, and resilient-and so the business knows exactly how to engage with your team
  • Leverage AI and emerging technologies in everything you do-Rokt is building the future of ecommerce operations and we expect you to lead the way

Requirements

About You:
  • System-savvy with an automation-first mindset-you default to building scalable solutions, not manual workarounds
  • Strong experience in billing operations, revenue operations, or order-to-cash in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ownership of complex billing workflows
  • Solid understanding of billing processes, internal controls, and SOX requirements; exposure to revenue recognition concepts is a plus
  • Proven ability to drive process and system improvements end-to-end: defining billing rules, writing system requirements, and documenting evolving commercial models
  • Track record of effective cross-functional collaboration with GTM, product, and legal teams to align contracts, systems, and controls
  • Excellent written and verbal communication-you can produce clear guidance, align stakeholders, and move fast without creating bottlenecks
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; you use data and metrics to prioritize, validate improvements, and tell the story of what's working
  • Genuine intellectual curiosity and a pragmatic, solutions-led approach to complex operational challenges

Bonus Points
  • Experience at a publicly traded company or in a pre-IPO environment preparing for public company readiness
  • Knowledge of international operations and global billing complexity, including multi-currency and cross-border invoicing
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools for process automation, data reconciliation, or anomaly detection
  • Background in adtech, ecommerce, or marketplace billing models

Benefits

About the Benefits:

We leverage best-in-class technology and market-leading innovation in AI and ML, with all of that being underlined by building and maintaining a fantastic and inclusive culture where people can be their authentic selves, and offering a great list of perks and benefits to go with it:

  • See the world! We have offices in New York, Seattle, Sydney, Tokyo and London

We believe we're better together. We love spending time together and are in the office most days (teams are in the office minimum 4 days per week).
