Retirement Account Executive
Department: Retirement Plan Services
The Retirement Services Account Executive at Marsh McLennan Agency manages and grows relationships with employer retirement plan clients — delivering strategic retirement plan consulting, implementation support, and ongoing fiduciary and investment advisory services. You’ll combine deep technical knowledge of plan design, investments, and compliance with strong client-facing skills to drive exceptional service, help clients meet their objectives, and support new business growth.
A day in the life.
As our Retirement Account Executive on the Retirement Plan Services team, you’ll be the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for a portfolio of retirement plan clients, owning the relationship and working closely with plan sponsors and their leadership teams. You’ll conduct deep-dive plan assessments—reviewing design, service providers, fees, investments, compliance risks, and participant behavior—to create objective, goals‑aligned recommendations. You’ll lead RFPs, vendor selection, and plan conversions, coordinating implementation with carriers, recordkeepers, TPAs, and internal specialists to keep transitions smooth. Ongoing, you’ll provide investment advisory and fiduciary support—customized investment guidance, education, plan reviews, regulatory & legislative updates, and issue resolution—then present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders using benchmarking and market data. You’ll also tap Marsh McLennan Agency’s cross-practice resources to articulate our full value, spot expansion opportunities, and help grow the business through referrals and business development activities.
