Full Job Description
Nature and Scope

The Respiratory Care Practitioner is responsible for coordination and administration of all modes of respiratory therapy, cardiac testing, pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas monitoring. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and competence of all techniques and values in the treatment of neonates, infants, and pediatric, adult and geriatric patients within the scope of the Cardiopulmonary Department.

We are located at 1065 Bucks Lake Road, Quincy, CA 95971.

Compensation

Compensation for Benefited, Full-Time Pay Scale

  • Base Rate: $42.33–$60.35 per hour (88,046.40 - $125,533.11 annually)
  • Starting pay is determined using our clinical pay scales, which feature 13 steps recognizing up to 30 years of relevant experience.
  • Eligible employees may also receive shift differential and holiday pay

Compensation for Non-Benefited, Full-Time Pay Scale

  • Base Rate: $50.80–$72.43 per hour (105,659.84 - 150,645.67 annually)
  • Starting pay is determined using our clinical pay scales, which feature 13 steps recognizing up to 30 years of relevant experience.
  • Eligible employees may also receive shift differential and holiday pay

Qualifications

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrates knowledge and competence of all techniques and values in the treatment of neonates, infants, pediatrics, adult and geriatric patients within the scope of the cardio-pulmonary department.
  • Ability to evaluate lab data and diagnostic changes in patient condition and develop care plan with other team members to make and support needed critical intervention.
  • Is a resourceful and effective team member dealing with atypical situations, emergencies, CPR, trauma cases and equipment failures.
  • Must practice safe and effective skills in pharmacology with the knowledge of therapeutic/dosage.
  • Participates in multi-disciplinary patient care plan/conferences and consults with physician on patient care expectation/outcome.
