Position Summary
Reporting to the Associate Dean and Director of the Center for Educational Partnerships, the Resource Specialist for NYC Regional Bilingual Education Resource Network (NYC-RBERN) coordinates technical assistance and professional development for NYC schools and districts.
This position may require occasional regional travel.
Essential Functions
Facilitates, coordinates, and provides technical assistance, professional development, and related activities to the schools and districts throughout NYC.
Assists the Director in carrying out the mission of the NYC-RBERN by maintaining ongoing communication with the schools in the region and the Statewide districts.
Facilitates school-based activities in target schools that are in various stages of improvement.
Attends NYSED network strategy professional development meetings in Albany.
