Resort Assistant Manager
Supervises a given shift at the Front Desk. Directs staff that performs the following duties and will also perform these duties on own: welcomes and registers hotel guests, explaining the accommodations and establishing credit or method of payment. Checks guest out of the hotel, preparing and explaining the bill. Responds to a wide variety of guest requests by accurately assessing the guest needs and requests and then adding personal recommendations and touches to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies. This role is part of the Rooms Division, reporting to the Front Office Manager. Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.
What You Will Do
• Deliver exceptional guest experiences by managing arrivals, departures, reservations, room assignments, billing, and guest inquiries while anticipating needs, resolving concerns, accommodating special requests, and ensuring service aligns with Four Seasons standards.
• Oversee daily front office operations by coordinating with internal departments, managing financial and cash-handling procedures, maintaining accurate records and reports, supporting hotel safety and security, and fostering positive working relationships with guests, colleagues, and leadership.
What You Will Bring
• Requires a working knowledge of the Front Desk and Concierges aspect of Four Seasons services, policies or operations and general knowledge of Housekeeping, the hotel and area. Working knowledge is generally learned on-the-job.
• It requires knowledge for the ability to operate computer equipment and the reservations system.
• The ability to read and speak English.
• Tuberculosis Clearance
• Maui Liquor License
