Residential Electrician Duties:- Residential service, maintenance, and inspections - Perform diagnostics, repairs, and routine maintenance on home electrical systems to ensure safe, reliable operation.
- Wiring and equipment installation - Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, devices, fixtures, appliances, and related components using appropriate hand and power tools.
- Electrical layout planning - Plan and execute wiring layouts and equipment placement based on job specifications, residential electrical codes, and safety standards.
- Whole-home rewiring - Complete full-structure rewiring projects, including circuit upgrades, panel improvements, and replacement of outdated or unsafe electrical systems.
Residential Electrician Requirements: - 3-5+ years of progressive electrical experience in residential settings
- Experience in residential repair and install
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record (to operate company vehicle)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong time management skills and attention to detail
- Strong knowledge of safety compliance
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment
- Able to handle physical workload
