Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or relevant experience.
• 5+ years progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects.
• Fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with construction codes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and identify discrepancies.
• Team-oriented with strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Primavera.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of construction professionals, including Assistant Resident Engineers and Field Inspectors.
• Oversee one or multiple transportation projects, including tunnels, bridges, and transit systems.
• Conduct construction progress meetings and monitor project schedules and costs.
• Process change orders and negotiate construction claims.
• Coordinate construction efforts with facility operations and contractors.
• Mentor less-experienced field staff and provide guidance as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
