About the job:- Work independently to explore frontier research goals, performing tasks such as algorithm design, literature review, and data collection and analysis.
- Author and co-author research papers for publication in top academic conferences and journals.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas to the research process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., senior researchers, product managers, engineers).
- Analyze and interpret research findings, drawing insightful conclusions and keep track of the latest advancement in related research and identify opportunities for application with CBG products.
- Present research findings to internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating complex technical concepts.
The
total target annual compensation for this position ranges from $127,000 to $225,000 depending on education, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
About the ideal candidate:- Experience with acoustic/speech/audio project (industry-level or open-source) or a groundbreaking solution for hard problem or impactful research or similar achievement.
- PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field from a top university globally.
- Have established yourself in the research communities and/or in the industry with a proven track of record in academic/industry publications, at least one (ACL, ICLR, AAAI, COLING,ICML and NeurIPS etc.).
- Passion for innovation and a desire to translate research into real-world applications, robust and scalable.
- Creative, collaborative and innovation-focused.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
