Job Description:

Overview:

About the role:

As a Research Product Associate at Chatham, you will help build the operating system behind the Research Team's most important market intelligence products. This role is designed for a highly organized, analytically minded, and execution-oriented professional who can own recurring research workflows, improve how reports are produced, and help turn Chatham's data, analysis, and market insight into repeatable, high-quality products.

In this role, you will own the production of flagship deliverables. Partnering closely with Research, Marketing, Analytics, Investment Management, and other internal stakeholders, you will help ensure each product has a clear purpose, audience, cadence, workflow, and feedback loop.

This is not a traditional research analyst role or a purely administrative production role. The person in this seat will be expected to understand what each research product is meant to accomplish, manage the process from start to finish, identify ways to improve efficiency, and help the team create new analyses, stronger market intelligence, and broader insight generation.

Responsibilities:
• Own and coordinate the production process for recurring Research Team deliverables
• Manage the research product calendar, production timelines, workflow checklists, stakeholder review process, and recurring deadlines.
• Partner with Research Team subject-matter owners to understand each product's purpose, audience, methodology, historical process, and improvement opportunities. Maintain institutional knowledge around how research products are created, why they matter, who they serve, and how they should evolve.
• Centralize and standardize documentation around production workflows, templates, distribution language, supporting exhibits, documentation, and quality-control steps.
• Collaborate with Marketing and internal stakeholders on distribution, branding consistency, and messaging.
• Maintain feedback loops by gathering input from recipients and stakeholders, internal and external, while tracking readership and qualitative feedback where applicable.
• Identify opportunities to streamline the report generation process, reducing manual steps and implementing AI and/ or automation technologies to improve production workflows.
• Support enhancements to existing products by incorporating new analyses, visualizations, metrics, templates, and process improvements.
• Help expand the Research Team's product library through new dashboards, indices, benchmarking tools, micro-reports, thematic briefs, and other repeatable assets.

Qualifications:
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in research operations, product management, product operations, finance, commercial real estate, capital markets, investment management, data analytics, consulting, or a similar analytical/business role.
• Strong organizational discipline, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple recurring deliverables with different cadences, stakeholders, and deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to own a process from start to finish, follow complex workflows, document steps clearly, and improve repeatable processes over time.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with market data, financial information, research exhibits, , presentations, and written commentary.
• Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex information into clear, polished, and useful materials.
• Intellectual curiosity and commercial instincts, with an interest in capital markets, commercial real estate, credit, lending, investment management, and market intelligence.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with subject-matter experts, marketing partners, analytics colleagues, investment professionals, and senior stakeholders.
• Comfort with technology and willingness to explore AI-enabled tools, automation, and new approaches to research production.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with data visualization, workflow tools, CRM systems, research databases, or business intelligence platforms is helpful.
• Humility, energy, follow-through, and a collaborative team-first mindset; willingness to do detailed execution work while also staying curious and identifying ways to make the work better over time.

For Colorado based candidates, the compensation range for the position is expected to be between $80,000 and $95,000 annually. Total compensation, including base pay, discretionary individual bonus and company bonus, may be higher than range listed, depending on applicant's skills, qualifications, and experience. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, 401k, EAP, paid holidays and paid time off.
