Research Assistant Professors - Hematology/Oncology #MED379b
The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology/Oncology, seeks Research Assistant Professors who will conduct academic research in association with a faculty member or team. The appointees will contribute to our translational research program in Developmental Therapeutics and Immuno-Oncology by leading projects aimed at developing therapeutic strategies that enhance innate immunity against cancers that are refractory to immunotherapy. The appointees will be expected to build internal and external collaborative partnerships with other researchers as appropriate, participate in the preparation and writing of grant applications and reports, and write scientific manuscripts. Compensation is dependent on qualifications. These positions are benefits-eligible.
Prior to the start of employment, applicants must: 1) hold a Ph.D. degree in cancer biology, immunology, or a related field and 2) have completed postdoctoral training.
