Full Job Description
Position Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned Removal Defense Immigration Attorney with strong experience representing noncitizens in immigration court. The ideal candidate has successfully handled master calendar hearings, individual hearings, motions to reopen and terminate, and BIA appeals. Experience with asylum, cancellation of removal, waivers, and complex inadmissibility issues is required. Federal litigation experience is a plus but not required.

This is a litigation-heavy role, ideal for someone who thrives in court and wants to build on a solid foundation of removal defense and family-based immigration experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in removal proceedings before EOIR, including master calendar and individual hearings.
  • Prepare and file motions, applications for relief, and legal briefs (including cancellation of removal, asylum, withholding, CAT, and waivers).
  • Handle appeals to the BIA and, if qualified, to federal courts.
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients facing deportation and complex legal challenges.
  • Manage filings and appearances with USCIS, EOIR, ICE, and the BIA.
  • Collaborate with intake, paralegals, and fellow attorneys to develop strategies and ensure timely filings.
