Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Remote Software Engineer to join our growing team. As a Remote Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications that support our pharmaceutical research and development processes. You will work closely with our cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet the needs of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications for pharmaceutical research and development processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
- Troubleshoot and debug software issues in a timely manner
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in software development
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members
- Continuously improve software development processes and practices
- Work independently and efficiently in a remote setting while maintaining effective communication with team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development
- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python
- Experience with front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with database management and SQL
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
