About this roleWe are looking for a Senior Bankruptcy Attorney with 10+ years of consumer bankruptcy experience to lead and grow our Chapter 7 practice. This is a rare opportunity to build your own practice within a fully remote, collegial firm - all marketing, lead gen, and client acquisition is handled for you, so you can focus entirely on the law.
What will you be doing?- Own and grow the firm's high-volume Chapter 7 consumer bankruptcy practice end to end
- Manage consumer filings from intake through discharge (90-120 day cycles)
- Partner with the senior paralegal team on case throughput and quality
- Help hire, vet, and mentor junior attorneys as the practice scales
- Serve as the senior legal voice on complex or contested consumer matters
Key Requirements- Licensed and in good standing with the Texas bar
- 10+ years of dedicated consumer bankruptcy experience (Chapter 7 focus - not corporate/Chapter 11)
- Comfortable operating at high volume without sacrificing accuracy
- Tech-savvy and able to adapt quickly to new tools and platforms
- Strong interpersonal skills - friendly, professional communicator who represents debtors (not creditors)
