Full Job Description
Remote Bilingual Clinical Psychologist (Spanish) - Older Adults (PhD, PsyD)
Location: Fully remote, anywhere in the U.S. | Schedule: You set it, 7 days a week available
We're hiring bilingual licensed clinical psychologists (PhD or PsyD) for part-time or full-time roles, paid per session. Choose the setup that fits your life:
- 1099 contractor: starting at 15 hours per week
- W2 employee: starting at 25 hours per week, with full benefits
What We Offer
- A full caseload, built for you. Share your availability and we'll match you with Spanish-speaking older adults who fit your approach. No marketing, no chasing referrals. Most clinicians have a full caseload within a few weeks.
- Support that's actually there. A dedicated clinical lead and live admin help. Our providers tell us it's the most supported they've felt in telehealth.
- Your schedule, your call. Work the days and hours that suit you. No on-call, no required evenings.
- Less paperwork, more therapy. Our telehealth platform and AI documentation assistant handle the busywork.
- Room to grow. Free CEs, geriatric-focused training, and clinical consultation with experienced directors.
- Pay that works for you. 1099 clinicians earn competitive per-session rates, paid as full cash compensation.
- Full benefits for W2 clinicians (25+ hours/week). Health, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) with up to 3.5% employer match.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based psychotherapy to Spanish-speaking older adults via telehealth
- Conduct sessions fluently in Spanish, meeting patients in their language and cultural context
- Build individualized treatment plans around each patient's goals and needs
- Manage your own caseload and clinical decisions, with a supportive care team behind you
- Complete documentation in our EMR, with AI-assisted notes
- Join regular, paid case consultations with experienced clinical leaders
Qualifications
- Must be located in the United States
- Doctoral degree in psychology (PhD or PsyD) from an APA-accredited program
- Active, independent license to practice psychology in the state where this role is posted
- Fluent in English and Spanish, able to conduct full therapy sessions in Spanish
- Experience with older adult or geriatric populations preferred
- Comfortable with telehealth platforms and electronic health records
- Medicare billing experience a plus (we handle billing either way)
Who Thrives at Sailor
- You care about the mission. Supporting older adults through grief, loss, and the challenges of later life feels meaningful to you.
- You know what language access means clinically. Meeting a patient in their native language is one of the most powerful things a psychologist can offer, especially in later life.
- You understand this population. Maybe you've spent years working with older adults, or you're later in your own career and chose this work on purpose.
- You do your best work on a team. You want colleagues, a clinical lead, and real support, not just a login and good wishes.
- You like independence with backup. You trust your clinical judgment and want infrastructure behind you, not oversight on top of you.
