In this role, you will travel throughout British Columbia's Interior and Northern communities, supporting a variety of pharmacies while expanding your skills with every assignment. Patient Focused Care Responsibilities:
- Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development. Administer vaccines and immunizations
- Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions
- Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage
- Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice
- Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Licensed and in good standing with the British Columbia College of Pharmacist
- Injection certification is required
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently or in a team environment
