Job SummaryWe are seeking the Release Manager who is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the deployment of application and platform changes into production, with a strong focus on overnight maintenance windows where timing, accuracy, and risk management are critical. This role ensures that all code releases are properly scheduled, approved, and communicated in advance, and that deployment activities follow established processes, controls, and readiness checks. The Release Manager works closely with development, QA, Platform Engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to confirm that release content is validated, dependencies are understood, and implementation plans are complete before any production activity begins.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the central coordinator during maintenance windows and release events.
- Guide teams through deployment steps and monitor progress against release plans.
- Identify and resolve issues in real time; ensure rollback/contingency plans are ready.
- Confirm successful post-deployment validation before release closure.
- Document outcomes, track risks, and capture lessons learned for process improvement.
- Support continuous improvement of release processes and cross-team coordination.
- Collaborate with SMEs and stakeholders to ensure smooth release execution.
Preferred Skills & Experience- 10 years of relevant release management experience (no senior profiles over 10 years).
- Knowledge of Gemini Enterprise (GECX) and experience in Contact Center IVR space preferred.
- Flexible to support release schedules and offshore overlapping hours in the morning.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across technical and business teams.
Additional Requirements- Existing/ex-Charter contractors/FTEs must observe a 6-month cooling period as per SoW.
