Opportunity:Kem Krest is seeking a
Senior Manager, Regulatory & Compliance to lead regulatory operations and compliance programs across multiple product categories and business functions. This leader will manage and develop a team of regulatory professionals while serving as a trusted advisor to leaders throughout the organization.
This is a hybrid position requiring two to three days of in-person work per week and up to 25% travel. The Senior Manager will partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Quality, and other functions to assess risk, navigate regulatory requirements, support new business opportunities, and strengthen compliance effectiveness. The ideal candidate combines deep regulatory expertise with strong business acumen, cross-functional leadership, and a passion for continuous improvement, technology, and automation.
Responsibilities:- Lead, develop, and empower a team of regulatory professionals while creating a culture of growth, collaboration, and accountability.
- Oversee regulatory operations, compliance programs, reporting, and documentation across multiple product categories and business functions.
- Advise organizational leaders on regulatory requirements, risk assessments, compliance considerations, and new business opportunities.
- Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, Quality, and other teams to support audits, compliance initiatives, and strategic projects.
- Evaluate emerging regulatory requirements, industry trends, and market dynamics, translating complex topics into practical business actions.
- Lead audits and compliance programs while balancing regulatory expectations, customer requirements, operational needs, and financial considerations.
- Champion continuous improvement by streamlining workflows, modernizing processes, and leveraging technology, automation, and AI to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Support sustainability initiatives and ensure associated compliance reporting and documentation requirements are met.
- Build organizational capability by developing talent, sharing regulatory expertise, and helping stakeholders understand risks, options, and recommendations.
Your Contributions:- Ten or more years of experience in regulatory, compliance, quality, or a related field.
- Five or more years of leadership experience managing professional teams.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Deep expertise in interpreting and applying regulatory requirements within a complex business environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading audits, compliance programs, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong risk assessment, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proven ability to build relationships, influence leaders and stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and drive results through collaboration.
- Strong business acumen, including the ability to understand company financials, evaluate operational and financial impacts, and translate those impacts for the team.
- Ability to work in person two to three days per week and travel up to 25%.
