Full Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Service Line Coordinator will function as a frontline expert in their specialty. Collaborates with the Service Line Supervisor to coordinate and support effective and efficient delivery of care for the surgical patients.
EDUCATION:


Bachelor`s degree in Nursing required. Current/valid State of New Jersey license (or legal permission to work from the New Jersey Board of Nursing.

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three years of OR experience. Proficiency in varied applied specialties Computer and keyboard skills preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS:
Current valid certification. AORN member. ACLS certified. Ability to manage a changing work environment as a result of changing patient needs, including working with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes, and those who are dying. Proven interaction and communication (oral, writing, presenting) skills to effectively communicate (oral and written) with patients, physicians, and co-workers during day-to-day, stressful, and emotionally changed situations. Demonstrated competence, clinical expertise, and sound professional judgment. Demonstrated ability to work independently and cooperatively with health care team members (i.e. , physicians, MSA, CPD, etc.) and diverse patient populations. Ability to use effective time management to set priorities, performs job related responsibilities, and responds quickly to emergency situations. Demonstrated ability to use effective analytical and critical thinking skills to problem-solve, make clinical decisions, and respond quickly to meet patient care and departmental needs. Attentive to details and the ability to perform work accurately, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.

Pay Range: $47.80 - $59.75 (per hour)
