Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager
: - Supervise and lead a team of nurses and healthcare professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Provide education and training to staff on clinical procedures, protocols, and best practices.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring individualized care for each patient.
- Conduct regular rounds to assess patient needs, address any concerns, and ensure that care delivery meets quality standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Stay updated with current healthcare practices and regulations.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans for patients.
Qualifications & Experience Requirements for Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager:
- Previous Experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager preferred
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Connecticut.
- AAS in Nursing, bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
