Job DescriptionResponsible for independently utilizing the nursing process to safely, therapeutically and efficiently care for a group of patients based on policies and procedures. Delivers individualized quality patient care through a coordinated team approach with physicians, staff, other departments and the patient's family. Complies with the California Nurse Practice Act, Article 2, Section 2725 of the Business and Professions Code.

- Advanced knowledge of arrhythmias (Electrophysiology only)
- Advanced knowledge of catheters, electrophysiology, radiofrequency ablation procedures and ICD testing (Electrophysiology only)
Required Experience- Current California RN license
- Evidence of continuing education
- Prior experience in an acute care facility, skilled nursing facility or formal classroom education
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Card
- LA City Fire card within 6 months of employment
- Violence Intervention &Prevention (VIP) certification within six months of employment
- One year minimum acute care experience
