QualificationsEducation, Training and Experience- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nursing Professionals (BCCNP).
- Successful completion of a recognized O.R. Nursing program or equivalent combination of education training and experience in a related nursing area.
- One year's experience in /OR/PAR/DC nursing.
Skills and Abilities- Ability to render nursing care in a professional manner, consistent with nursing
and administrative practices, procedures and regulations. - Ability to use, maintain, assemble and dismantle O.R. instruments and equipment.
- Ability to function in emergency or stressful situations.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff.
- Fitness to practice the duties of the position.
- Ability to function in Day Care, O.R. P.A.R.
- Ability to take assigned share of O.R. On Call.
