Eligible for $7,500 sign on bonus, half paid at 6 months and the other half paid after one year of employment if experienced.

Job Details

Our Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) RN's:
  • Recover, assess, monitor, administer medication, document progress, and manage overall care for patients who have undergone open-heart surgery
  • Partner with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, attending physicians, registered nurses (RN), and ancillary staff to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
  • Cross-train between the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) and the Intermediate Care Unit
  • Advocate for and build meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones through safety intervention, emotional support and education.

What you'll bring:
  • Passion for the CTICU
  • 1+ years of experience in a Critical Care Unit (CCU, ICU, CTICU, CVICU, etc.), experience with open heart patients a plus
  • 1+ years cardiac step-down experience preferred
  • Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
  • Will consider Associates Degree if enrolled in an accredited BSN program
  • Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required, Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) preferred

*New Grads hired for this role will be entered in a residency program.

Posted Salary Range

USD $56.39 - USD $77.34 /Hr.
