Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse License issued by the State
1-5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Long Term Care Facility preferred
Responsibilities
Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care
Perform direct patient care following established procedures and standards
Develop and implement nursing care plans and assessments
Ensure safe performance of duties in accordance with policies
Record nursing notes accurately and informatively
Perform 'Charge Nurse' duties as assigned

The Registered Nurse reports to and receives general direction from the Director of Nursing and is responsible for delivering quality nursing care to assigned residents in compliance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and established policies and procedures which encourages each resident's ability to maintain or attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
