Job Description:Position Summary:The PACU/ASU Registered Nurse promotes and restores patients health by completing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for pre- and post-operative patients recovering from general, local, and regional anesthesia based upon age specific and cultural needs.
Minimum Qualifications:- Associates degree from an accredited professional nursing program
- Bachelors degree from an accredited professional nursing program
- Valid AZ state RN License or valid multistate license from a recognized compact state acceptable to AZ
- Advance Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- ASPAN preferred
- APEX training as assigned and completed within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter
- NIH stroke scale completed within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter
- EKG Exam at time of hire
