Overview

ERP International, LLC is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse for a Full-Time position at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, CA.

Responsibilities

Schedule:

Shifts are Sunday - Saturday, 13 hours to include a 60-minute meal break

Day Shift: 6:45am - 7:45pm
Night Shift: 6:45pm - 7:45am

Job Specific Responsibilities and Tasks: Duties may include but are not limited to:

Coordinate patient care in collaboration with a wide array of healthcare professionals. Facilitate the achievement of optimal outcomes in relation to clinical care, quality, and cost effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with standards of care and practice in accordance with all established policies, procedures, and guidelines used in the MTF.
Perform physical exam and health histories.
Provide health promotions, counseling, and education.
Administer medications, wound care, and numerous other personalized interventions.
May provide clinical direction or assist in the instruction of care provide by other healthcare professionals within scope of clinical privileges or responsibilities, however, may not serve as Charge Nurse on a unit/ward.
Provide clinical direction for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.
Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations.
Communicate and collaborate with a diverse group of people for the purpose of informing the healthcare team of plans/actions, for teaching/education to benefit the patient/family and organization.
Make referral appointments and arrange specialty care as appropriate.
Perform nursing services identified in the TO.
Conduct research in support of improved practice and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Minimum Associates Desgree of Nursing• Experience: Minimum one year experience, within the past 3 years (Labor & Delivery)

• Licensure: Current, full, active and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse

* Security: Must possess ability to pass a Government background check/security clearance.
* Life Support Certification: BLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring

Pay Scale: $80.00 - $98.00 per hour, to be determined based on qualifications, experience, and location
