Job DescriptionA Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Rehab program will work with patients to:
- Function as an educator and educational resource for patients, families and program team members.
- Perform intake and exit interviews with patients
- Provide clinical leadership in management of cardiovascular conditions and emergencies
- Monitor patient progress using clinical assessments in person and on the phone
- Work with other team members to monitor patients during exercise classes
- Deliver education classes to covering a variety of health-related topics.

- Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Extensive background in cardiovascular medicine
- Current BCLS Certification required at time of hire
- Preferred membership with the Canadian Association of Cardiac Rehabilitation
- Demonstrated excellence in communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record required
Additional InformationHours: Monday to Sunday - Various rotating 8 and 12 hours shifts (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary: $41.15 to $58.98 per hour
