Registered Nurse - Coronary Care Unit Intermediate

Pay: $37.00–$51.28 per hour

Full-time, 12 hour shifts, Schedule 3 x 12

Department: Coronary Care Unit Intermediate

• Provide direct patient care for cardiac and critically ill patients
• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms (EKG/telemetry)
• Assess and respond to changes in cardiovascular status and treatment response
• Communicate clinical changes, diagnostic results, and symptomatology to physicians
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and vasoactive drips per orders
• Support patient and family education and guide nursing support staff
• Respond rapidly to emergencies, code situations, and cardiac events
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, patient safety, and regulatory standards

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. Current and valid state RN License.

2. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.

3. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

4. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.

5. Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred.

6. Ventilator Management experience preferred.

7. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

Central Maine Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $37.00 to $51.28 per hour. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
