About the Role:

We are seeking a full-time Regional Sales Manager to join, and lead the northeast region of Avive's Community Programs Team. In this mission-critical role, you will be accountable for driving scaled adoption of Avive's products through the direct management, mentorship, and coaching of a team of Community Program Specialists (Account Executives).

The ideal candidate is a motivated, experienced self-starter with a proven track record in public safety sales and sales management. You should thrive on building relationships, mentoring others, creative problem solving, and making a meaningful impact from day one.

As a key member of our sales leadership team, you will guide, coach, and support your team to achieve ambitious sales goals. Success in this role requires strong people and territory management skills, technical aptitude, and interpersonal excellence. You should be curious, coachable, and resilient-able to learn quickly, handle objections with empathy, and communicate our mission with conviction.

What You'll Do:

  • Model for your team: Demonstrate excellence in the core skills of Community Program Specialists, including territory management, pipeline development, and engaging public safety and institutional clients (law enforcement, fire/EMS, schools, municipalities).
  • Lead and inspire: Train, mentor, and motivate your team of Community Program Specialists (AEs) to deliver results, strengthen customer relationships, and achieve regional sales goals.
  • Engage directly: Build relationships with decision-makers through in-person visits, outbound calls, emails, and strategic outreach tailored to client needs.
  • Showcase solutions: Deliver impactful demos and presentations of Avive's physical and SaaS-based emergency response solutions.
  • Be the expert: Develop deep product and industry knowledge to advise clients consultatively and stay ahead of evolving best practices.
  • Build trust: Foster long-term partnerships across diverse stakeholders, adapting communication to fit audiences and organizational structures.
  • Innovate outreach: Collaborate with your team on creative strategies to acquire new customers and expand Avive's impact.
  • Leverage tools: Use CRM and sales platforms (Salesforce, SharePoint, Google Workspace, Microsoft Office) to track progress, manage pipeline stages, and report performance.
  • Travel with purpose: Visit clients, join team ride-alongs, and lead on-site demonstrations to drive adoption and close opportunities.
  • Drive impact: Approach challenges with resilience, curiosity, and problem-solving-embodying Avive's mission to save lives through innovative safety solutions.
  • Accurate forecasting: Maintain rigorous accuracy in sales forecasting and pipeline reporting to provide leadership with clear visibility into team performance and goal attainment.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in outside sales and sales management, with a track record of exceeding quota and driving team performance.
  • Extensive experience selling emergency response, safety, medical equipment, or related SaaS and physical solutions to public sector clients-including law enforcement, fire/EMS, educational institutions, and municipal organizations.
  • Skilled in managing geographic territories, independently building pipelines, developing strategic relationships, and engaging key decision-makers at all levels.
  • Highly experienced in delivering impactful, in-person product demonstrations and sales presentations that align solutions to client needs.
  • Thrives in dynamic, fast-growing environments; comfortable diving into new projects, experimenting, iterating quickly, and scaling effective approaches.
  • Quick to develop deep technical expertise across innovative products and solutions; proficient in Salesforce and relevant business tools.
  • Strong communicator, active listener, and relationship-builder with excellent organizational and leadership abilities. Adept at coaching, mentoring, and motivating teams to achieve shared goals.
