Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager will lead a regional sales team to drive profitable growth, disciplined sales execution, strong customer relationships, and consistent performance against Sheffield Metals' commercial and operational objectives. Partners with Branch Managers, Inside Sales, Pricing, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Operations to support customer growth, pricing discipline, service alignment, and branch-level operating performance.

Job Duties
1. Lead, coach, and develop a regional team of outside sales professionals.
2. Reinforce Sheffield's sales process from prospecting and account development through quoting, follow-up, and customer relationship management.
3. Set expectations for territory planning, customer coverage, CRM usage, pipeline management, pricing discipline, forecast accuracy, and follow-through.
4. Conduct one-on-ones, ride-alongs, pipeline reviews, deal reviews, and performance check-ins with direct reports.
5. Develop regional plans that support profitable growth, product mix, and operational objectives.
6. Monitor regional KPIs, including activity, quote activity, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, customer growth, retention, margin trends, product mix, and accessory attachment.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, strategic accounts, and high-potential prospects.
8. Partner with Branch Managers, Pricing, Inside Sales, Supply Chain, and Operations to support profitable regional and branch-level performance.
9. Reinforce pricing discipline and ensure sales decisions align with pricing strategy, margin expectations, customer value, competition, and service capabilities.
10. Share demand signals, project outlook, market feedback, competitive activity, and upcoming opportunities with branch and cross-functional partners.
11. Partner with Marketing and Product resources to support regional campaigns, product launches, customer education, events, and market-specific growth initiatives.
12. Represent Sheffield Metals professionally in the field and perform other duties as assigned.
