POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Regional Sales Manager - Massachusetts is responsible for accelerating revenue growth and profitability through the strategic expansion and performance management of Axia's Sales Partner channel. This role owns partner acquisition, enablement, accountability, and territory growth across the assigned region.

We are seeking a high-impact solar sales leader with a demonstrated record of scaling indirect sales channels. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in residential solar, partner engagement, sales performance analytics, and team development. This position requires strong commercial judgment, operational discipline, and the ability to build high-performing partner networks that deliver consistent, quality-driven results.

This role reports to the Director - Sales Partners and the ideal candidate will be based in Massachusetts. The position requires regular regional travel to meet with Sales Partners, conduct training, and support performance initiatives. Hybrid or remote flexibility may be available depending on proximity to corporate offices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Identify, qualify, and recruit high-performing Sales Partner organizations in the residential solar space.
  • Establish and execute best practices to deliver exceptional customer experience through partner-led sales.
  • Train and enable Sales Partners on Axia's sales process, solar/ESS solutions, and value proposition.
  • Develop and manage sales forecasts, funnel analytics, and conversion performance metrics.
  • Deliver against monthly and quarterly sales targets as set by the Director - Sales Partners.
  • Design and lead training initiatives directly or through third-party support, ensuring consistent partner readiness.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Products team to launch tools for partner performance tracking and call auditing.
  • Implement partner accountability frameworks including performance improvement plans.
  • Develop and execute local lead generation strategies to support Sales Partner pipeline growth.
  • Travel is expected to be approximately 40-60% within Southern California, with occasional travel outside the region as business needs require.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience managing Sales Partner / Dealer channels in the residential solar industry.
  • Deep knowledge of solar PV, energy storage systems (ESS), and related permitting and installation processes.
  • Strong industry network among solar professionals and sales organizations.
  • Proven ability to scale revenue through indirect sales and partner enablement.
  • Skilled in structuring and negotiating residential solar sales agreements.
  • Ability to analyze, report, and act on sales funnel data and performance trends.
  • Excellent communication skills-written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Confident presenting to internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership.
  • Strategic thinker with strong leadership and organizational development abilities.
