SUMMARY:The Retail Banking Manager is responsible for leading a cluster of 3 or more branches in meeting their branch financial objectives (e.g. growth, profitability). Leads retail branch teams to meet sales goals, mitigate risks, and provide Right By You client service. Responsible for effective partnerships with BDOs, Credit, Trust, LPL, Mortgage, Business Solutions, Area Operations, and other corporate divisions. Must be effective at sales management, business development, and leadership.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:- Develop and implement a sales plan for assigned branches. Follow the Bank's sales management process and defined timeline for sales management activities. Utilize Bank sales tracking tools. Inspect team sales activities and pipeline information. Engage with sales partners by joint calling and participation in sales meetings and training events.
- Provide leadership and direction to assigned Branch Managers and Office Managers. Provide guidance to managers on management issues including: staffing, performance appraisals, promotions, salary recommendations, training, disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Develop and implement a plan for the assigned branches to accomplish the short term and long term financial objectives, based on the Area business plan. Review the plan with all associates on a regularly scheduled basis to ensure understanding and commitment.
- Exercise administrative and managerial control over all banking activities within the assigned branches. Demonstrate leadership in carrying out Bank programs, policies and objectives as well as local policy through a visible, participative, hands-on involved management style.
- Partner with operations, credit, and human resources in risk management efforts. Maintain required knowledge and comply with operations policies and procedures. Comply with lending policies and procedures.
- Represent the Bank in various civic and community functions to further enhance the Bank's image and development of additional business.
- Review, analyze, and control all non-interest expenses in order to meet the budgetary commitments for the area.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor degree with a minimum of 8 years of banking experience required including 3 years in a leadership role.

- Demonstrated understanding of retail banking products and services.
