Regional Sales Manager, Division Portable Metrology

Summary

Regional Sales Manager, Portable Metrology Software

Location: Remote, BUT candidate MUST be located in Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin or north east US.

About the Role

We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager to drive revenue growth for our industry-leading portable metrology software solutions, primarily selling SpatialAnalyzer and Inspire softwares. This role is responsible for developing new business, expanding existing accounts, and building strategic partnerships within manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, energy, and other precision-driven industries.

The ideal candidate has experience selling technical B2B software-preferably in metrology, manufacturing technology, CAD/CAM, quality inspection, or related engineering solutions-and thrives in a consultative sales environment.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the regional sales strategy to exceed revenue targets
  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities
  • Manage the full sales cycle from discovery to contract negotiation
  • Conduct remote and onsite product demonstrations (often alongside application engineers)
  • Develop strong relationships with manufacturing leaders, quality managers, and engineering stakeholders
  • Expand existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in CRM
  • Collaborate with marketing, technical support, and product teams to align messaging and customer success
