About This Role
The Regional Sales Manager represents Carrier’s interests and building business relationships to enhance sales performance of our VRF products. This role primarily serves the Texas region of the US to also include some Southwest and Midwest (Central Plains) locations. Candidate for this remote location ideally lives in Texas.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for VRF product sales and growth
- Develop and manage joint growth strategies with sales channels (Distribution, Rep Firms, and Direct offices) to increase customer base, convert contractors/engineers, and increase market share
- Train sales channels on VRF products, strategies, and programs
- Build consultative relationships and trust with sales channels to rapidly resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
- Possess familiarity with regional energy rebates and tax incentive programs
- Examine marketing and sales statistics plus field conditions to identify opportunities and devise strategies for maximum growth and increased market share
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of experience working in the HVAC industry
- Ability to travel up to 60% domestically
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Mechanical Engineering
- Knowledgeable about VRF products (operation, design guidelines, accessories)
- Experience with applied HVAC products
- Sales and/or sales management experience
- Superior follow-up and follow-through skills
- History of rapid sales growth with satisfied customers
- Understanding of VRF marketplace dynamics including industry trends and assessment of key competitor’s programs
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to pull data from assorted sources and synthesize it in both graphic and verbal format, so that it is easily understood by the target audience
- Strong public speaking and proven capacity to communicate professionally
- CRM familiarity (Salesforce) and report generation capability
- Comfort working remotely leveraging technology for connectivity
- Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, & PowerPoint)
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
Other Compensation
Thisposition is entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements.
