Job Summary
The Regional Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for providing training and ongoing support to Pebble Technology, Inc's (PTI) Licensed Installers and Certified Builders. Additionally, you will be responsible for warranty evaluations and possibly some repair work. Evaluations, training, and inspections will occur on worksites and require a substantial portion of the job to be conducted in the field. The ideal candidate will have experience regarding pool plastering, cement finishing, or an educational degree in a construction related field. This role will cover a large geographical region across the Western US (NM, AZ, NV, CA, ID, WA, OR, and TX).
Job Location
This is a remote based role when not traveling. This person must reside in the greater Southern CA, Northern CA, or Phoenix metro markets preferably.
Job Responsibilities
ul>Ensure a high level of quality and compliance on PTI finish installations by providing support and ongoing training to PTI's installer base
Communicate and visit with pool builders/applicators regarding product installation quality and address customer concernsTravel to multiple installers and builders within specific regions on scheduled visits and/or to address urgent issuesVisit homeowners to inspect and resolve escalated customer situations related to Pebble Tec finishesMaintain regular verbal and written communication with Warranty Administrator, Customer Service Manager and DirectorCommunicate with PTI Sales Managers to ensure that we are providing a seamless customer service experienceDocument and update all customer interactions with PTI's customer service software, forms and reportsWork with R&D in developing new products, providing feedback on product performance and development of care and maintenance protocolsAct in a professional manner at all times, representing the high standard of quality and customer satisfaction expected of all PTI employeesAble to get into a customer's pool for some minor repairs as neededOther duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Good interpersonal skills - able to work well and interact with people at all organization levels
- Organizational ability - able to plan, prioritize, organize and monitor activities and projects
- Construction/manual labor experience is a plus
- Proficient with computers
- Strong water chemistry background is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly recommended
- Travel up to 60% in within region (day and overnight)
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend, stretch, stoop, reach (including overhead)
- Swimming capability
- Comfortable working with chemicals
- Valid driver's license
Compensation
- Base salary is $85,000 - $100,000
