Job Title : Regional Purchasing Commodity Professional - Supply Chain

Responsibilities :
Execute regional commodity strategies, including RFQ plans, purchasing tools, standards, and sourcing approaches.
Maintain and update rate cards in a timely manner for new lanes, volumes, frequencies, itineraries, seaports, and airports.
Lead monthly performance reviews for each Business Group related to the assigned commodity.
Manage the supplier panel strategically through operational reviews, business reviews, performance follow-up, and continuous supplier development.
Set up new providers in Tempo and SAP while ensuring accurate supplier data and process compliance.
Conduct Gemba visits with providers and plant teams to support operational alignment and identify improvement opportunities.
Ensure strong management of contracts, Master Service Agreements, legal topics, and compliance requirements related to the commodity.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including standardizing the invoicing process across Business Groups.
Provide operational support to plant teams by improving visibility, track-and-trace capabilities, and overall service levels.
Manage tenders using assigned OPmobility tools and platforms, including Tempo and TenderEasy.
Ideal Candidate Profile :
Bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Approximately 8 years of related experience on the commercial side of supply chain, either as a purchaser or as a freight forwarder/carrier Key Account Manager.
Experience on the operational side of supply chain is preferred, such as solution design engineering with a supply chain provider or supply chain/flow engineering with a shipper.
Strong market knowledge in at least one commodity area, such as road, sea, air, customs brokerage, warehousing and SILS, or packaging.
Proven track record of working directly with carriers, warehouse providers, freight forwarders, and/or brokers.
Proactive, accountable, and motivated to contribute to business results and continuous improvement.
Disciplined and structured approach with the leadership ability to apply purchasing strategies consistently and systematically.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent OPmobility professionally with suppliers.
