Summary: The Regional Product Director partners cross-functionally to drive product planning, forecasting, and lifecycle management. This role supports sales growth through portfolio optimization, marketing initiatives, and inventory strategies, ensuring product availability and profitability across the region.

Compensation: This salaried, exempt position pays from $90,000 to $120,000 per year. The estimated annual pay for new hires generally ranges from $100,000 to $140,000 or more, depending on experience, education level and annual bonuses (based on performance).
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to complete the following essential duties and responsibilities: - Collaborate on forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, and safety stock to maintain high product availability.
- Support sales leaders with portfolio management, pricing, customer growth, profit optimization, and inventory flow.
- Analyze sales trends, demand factors, and forecast accuracy.
- Provide sales teams with product knowledge and marketing support through training and presentations.
- Communicate new product information, manage samples, and ensure smooth product launches at branches.
- Advise on inventory strategies for new, existing, and discontinued products.
- Oversee internal transfers, identify slow-moving inventory, and manage markdowns.
- Resolve product-related questions, technical issues, and coordinate inspections and claims.
- Monitor market competition to identify opportunities for growth and revenue.
- Prepare reports and track product life cycles regionally.
- Travel to branches, attend trade shows, and represent the company at industry events.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Product Team and West Coast branches.
Additionally, the candidate must meet the following Education and/or Experience requirements: - Willingness to travel up to 50%.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of analytical role preferred.
- High level of comfort in working with details.
- Experience in sourcing and product development is desired but not necessary.
- Superb analytical and critical thinking skills, as proven by academic records and/or demonstrable work experience.
- Must be highly capable of working in fast-paced, fast-growth environment.
- Requires strong organizational skills and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills: presentation, writing, and delivery.
- Excel experience required: intermediate (pivot, v-, h- lookups) to advanced (power query).
