Position Summary
The Regional Operations Manager is responsible for the overall operational, financial, safety, customer, and workforce performance of a multi-state region. This position provides leadership to Area Managers and frontline operations teams while ensuring consistent execution of company standards, customer commitments, and strategic priorities.
The Regional Operations Manager drives operational excellence, develops leadership capability, maintains strong customer relationships, and delivers safe, productive, and profitable performance across the region.
Essential Responsibilities
Safety and Compliance
Promote and maintain a strong safety culture throughout the region.
Ensure compliance with all company, customer, state, and federal safety requirements.
Monitor damage prevention, quality, safety, and compliance metrics.
Conduct operational reviews and audits to identify and mitigate risk.
Lead corrective action and performance improvement efforts when required.
Operational Leadership
Lead the day-to-day operations of a multi-state region.
Ensure consistent execution of company policies, procedures, and operating standards.
Monitor productivity, service levels, quality performance, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent leadership experience.
Seven or more years of progressive leadership experience in utility locating, utility services, telecommunications, construction services, field operations, or a related industry.
Experience leading multiple managers, locations, or geographic territories.
Demonstrated success managing operational, financial, and safety performance.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel extensively throughout assigned region.
