Full Job Description
Lead South Carolina's Next Chapter of Growth.

You've spent your career leading people, driving results, and taking ownership when it counts. Now you're ready for a role that hands you real influence, real earning potential, and the trust to run your territory like it's your own business.

As Regional Manager for South Carolina, you'll lead a team of 10-15 Advance Funeral Planners across a market already generating $15 million a year, with a clear runway to $20 million and beyond in the future.

You're stepping into an established, high-performing region and making it your own, with the freedom to build it your way and the support to get there fast.

This is a role for a sales-driven, entrepreneurial leader who knows how to push for outcomes without losing sight of empathy, trust, and care.
What You'll Do (and Why You'll Love Doing It)

Lead a growth-focused team
  • Oversee and develop 10-15 Advance Funeral Planners across South Carolina, with some coverage into North Carolina. You'll coach to outcomes, hold your team accountable, and have the autonomy to run your region like a business you own.

Own high-value relationships
  • Partner directly with funeral home owners and staff throughout your territory. You'll bring structure, consistency, and trust to relationships that matter to the families and communities they serve every day.

Sell and lead by example
  • You'll get in the field alongside your team, model best practices, and reinforce a results-first approach that never loses sight of empathy. Staying close to the work keeps you connected to what your agents experience, and keeps you credible as their leader.

Drive growth in a market built for it
  • You'll have the runway, resources, and support to make a visible impact fast, with the flexibility to travel your territory on your own terms (about 3-4 days on the road, on average). You're stepping into a role that exists because the person before you was promoted, backed by the national leader in the preneed industry and a clear path to keep growing from here.

Requirements
If you have these skills, we want to talk with you!
  • Previous sales leadership or management experience. Preneed sales, funeral service, or related industries (insurance carriers, casket, vault, or urn sales) are all valued backgrounds!
  • Licensed funeral director strongly preferred, but not required. If you bring strong sales and management experience instead, we still want to hear from you!
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Comfortable with frequent regional travel (3-4 days on the road, on average).
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build trust quickly, coach performance, and hold your team accountable.
  • Current life insurance license, or the willingness to obtain one

Benefits
  • Total compensation based on experience, background, and performance, with meaningful upside for top performers
  • 18 days PTO and 10 paid holidays annually
  • Minimum 6-weeks parental leave
  • Health, Dental, and Vision benefits
  • 401k, with company match and $25,000 Life Insurance Policy
  • Freedom to live anywhere in South Carolina, with a role built around field autonomy
