Full Job Description
Summary - Under the direction of the Director of C&I Sales, the Regional Sales Manager directs, coordinates and supervises the sales activities of assigned territories or regions. This position will oversee the Northeast area.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Responsible for delivering the company's booking goal for the territory assigned.
  • Assists with developing an adequate dealer/representative organization and coordinates related functions such as market research, advertising, promotion, staffing, training, application engineering, distribution and service.
  • Develop and field customer inquiries, project opportunities, delivering quotations proposals with the goal of winning project awards.
  • Prepares reports for management perusal.
  • Recommends and assists with the development of sales policies and methods, advertising and promotional ideas, forecasts, quotas, budgets, etc.
    Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience - Bachelor's or equivalent from four-year college school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills- Outlook, SAP, SAP Concur, and Microsoft Office

Language Skills - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability - Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations - Must have valid driver's license and be able to travel frequently.
