Responsibilities

  • Serve as the regional point of contact for Transaction Specialists, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Manage deal overflow during peak periods to balance team workload.
  • Provide workflow backup for team members on PTO, maintaining transaction continuity.
  • Escalate complex issues to the Director of Agent Finance.
  • Work with agents to ensure efficient transactions from contract to close.
  • Collaborate with Brokers of Record to ensure compliance and documentation accuracy.
  • Foster strong relationships with agents to enhance communication and transaction success rates.
  • Oversee transaction documentation to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Audit records in Total Brokerage (TB) and SkySlope for accuracy.
  • Review commission structures for alignment with brokerage policy.
  • Identify compliance gaps before closing.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in TB and SkySlope.
  • Recommend process improvements to support system optimization and train new Transaction Specialists.

About the Role

The Regional Lead plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient transaction processing within their assigned region. This individual acts as both a subject matter expert and a resource for team coordination, workflow support, and operational excellence. In addition to managing transactions and maintaining compliance, this role oversees a small team, provides workflow coverage during team PTO, and serves as a key liaison between agents, regional Brokers of Record, and the Director of Agent Finance. This position requires exceptional organizational skills, a proactive mindset, and a strong understanding of transaction processes in a dynamic, fast-paced real estate environment.

Responsibilities

Leadership & Oversight
  • Serve as the regional point of contact for Transaction Specialists, ensuring consistent process adherence and operational excellence.
  • Manage overflow of deals during peak periods or to balance team workload.
  • Provide workflow backup for team members who are out on PTO, maintaining seamless transaction continuity.
  • Escalate complex or sensitive issues directly to the Director of Agent Finance.

Agent & Broker Collaboration
  • Work directly with agents to ensure transactions move efficiently from contract to close.
  • Partner with regional Brokers of Record to confirm compliance, documentation accuracy, and proper licensing representation across all files.
  • Foster strong, service-oriented relationships with agents to improve communication and enhance transaction success rates.

Transaction & Compliance Management
  • Oversee transaction documentation and ensure compliance with state, regional, and brokerage standards.
  • Maintain and audit records within systems such as Total Brokerage (TB) and SkySlope.
  • Review commission structures, splits, and payouts for accuracy and alignment with brokerage policy.
  • Identify and address potential compliance gaps before closing.

System Expertise & Process Improvement
  • Act as a subject matter expert in Total Brokerage (TB) and SkySlope, guiding the team and agents in efficient platform use.
  • Support ongoing system optimization efforts by sharing feedback and recommending process improvements.
  • Train new Transaction Specialists and assist with onboarding, ensuring a consistent approach to best practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Business Administration, Real Estate, or related disciplines.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience in real estate transactions, compliance, or operations.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and team workflows effectively.
  • Strong understanding of commission processing and document management within real estate systems.
  • Experience collaborating with Brokers of Record and multi-state real estate teams preferred.
  • Proficiency in SkySlope, CDA generation, and Excel \
  • Experience managing a remote team.
  • Experience in the following markets: Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, Illinois.
  • Experience with Escrow.
