A Typical DayAs the Regional Director, Support Services, a typical day might include:
- Providing leadership and direction to Support Services leaders and teams responsible for project management, workforce/float pool management, and other centralized operational functions
- Partnering with senior leadership and key stakeholders to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Medical Group support services
- Establishing and maintaining administrative structures that effectively support provider practice operations and future Medical Group growth
- Identifying opportunities to centralize additional support services and developing scalable solutions to meet evolving organizational needs
- Developing and implementing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in partnership with key stakeholders
- Monitoring and reporting on key performance measures, including productivity, quality, operational effectiveness, and service delivery
- Evaluating workflows, processes, and resources to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Leading complex projects and initiatives from planning through implementation while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities
- Recruiting, developing, coaching, and retaining high-performing team members
- Setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, providing feedback, and developing staff to support individual and organizational growth
- Building collaborative relationships with Medical Group practices, affiliated provider groups, clinical leaders, and administrative stakeholders
- Promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, enthusiasm, professionalism, and continuous improvement across the Support Services team
- Effectively allocating resources and adjusting staffing based on organizational demand
- Navigating competing priorities while maintaining focus on quality, efficiency, customer service, and measurable outcomes
- Serving as a strategic partner and resource to leadership as new operational needs and support-service opportunities emerge

To Be ConsideredQualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of three to five years of management experience in physician practice management, MSO service leadership, healthcare operations, or a related environment. A master's degree in health services, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
Previous experience in Supply Chain Management, Revenue Cycle, Health Information Management (HIM), Coding, Credentialing/Privileging, or other centralized healthcare support functions are also preferred.
