About Us

Overview

The Regional Director of Operations for Brightview Senior Living has the privilege of leading a regional portfolio of our Brightview communities in The Baltimore/Howard County Region  by providing them with direction and oversight of overall operations, as well as ensuring that we are providing exceptional quality, outstanding service, sustained resident satisfaction, superior associate engagement, operational efficiency, and strong financial results. This position covers Brightview Catonsville, Brightview Columbia, Brightview Hunt Valley, Brightview Mays Chapel Ridge and Brightview Rolling Hills.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

In this role, you will actively attract, motivate, retain and coach a group of high performing Executive Directors, in addition to divisional leadership teams who collectively direct the day to day operations for each of the communities. You will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic business plans that optimize each community in the portfolio.

 

Other specific duties will include oversight and development of community operating budgets and performance plans, monitoring sales performance, implementation of effective operation systems and processes, and maintenance of effective communication strategies within the region.

 

Most importantly, you will champion your region and ensure that our team embraces the vision, the mission, and the vibrancy of the organization, and that we create and maintain a vibrant and engaging living environment for Brightview residents….. and a great place to work for its associates.

 

 

 

Salary Range$180,000-$200,000/year Compensation Disclosure

The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, geriatrics, health care, hospitality or a related field and a minimum of eight years of progressive management experience; or equivalent combination of experience and education. Experience with multi-site management and working in senior living is preferable, but would be open to other backgrounds. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to connect and communicate effectively, in English, with diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and lead people and get results through others.
  • Will be currently located in a commutable distance to the New Jersey Region, or is willing to relocate to this area.
  • Ability to analyze and synthesize data from a variety of sources and to apply reason, logic, and advanced problem solving skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to develop and execute complex, strategic business plans.
  • Ability to both work collaboratively and to make independent decisions as appropriate.
  • Excellent written communication skills including proper grammar and professional writing. 
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and to prioritize, organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and the ability to quickly master new software applications.
  • Strong customer orientation to older adults.
  • Compliance with state licensing requirements (where applicable).
