About the RoleWe are looking for a
Regional Director to lead the growth, impact, and operational performance of the B Corp movement in the United States. The immediate focus is scaling and strengthening the B Corp network in the US; the role also oversees the Canadian B Corp community today while building the foundations for an expanded Canadian remit as the organization is ready.
The United States presents a powerful opportunity to convene B Corps at scale - strengthening the community, advancing collective action, and positioning the movement as a credible model for how business leads in challenging times. Realizing this opportunity requires a commercially astute and mission-aligned leader who can engage credibly with senior business leaders, strengthen the relevance and influence of the B Corp movement, and help position purpose-driven business as a practical, trusted force for positive change during a genuinely difficult political period for purpose-driven business, where ESG, DEI, and mission commitments face real scrutiny.
The Regional Director translates B Lab's global strategy into an integrated US (and Canada) market strategy and annual operating plan, leads the market team, and builds high-trust relationships with B Corps, business leaders, and partners so that B Lab's standards, certification, and community offers real value in both countries.
This role will guide the US market through its next phase of growth, impact, and organizational development, building on the commitment and expertise of the existing team and community. The Regional Director will provide clear strategic direction, foster strong collaboration, and support the team in translating B Lab's priorities into practical, locally relevant plans. They will be accountable for market performance and resource allocation, help remove barriers to delivery, and create the conditions for teams to succeed. The role will also ensure that US and Canadian market insights, opportunities, and needs are well represented across the wider B Lab organization, strengthening alignment and shared learning.
