Full Job Description
Recruiting Lead (Senior Manager Level)

Department: People

Employment Type: Full Time

Location: Austin, TX

Description

What You'll Do:
Reporting to the VP, People, the Recruiting Lead owns how Join Parachute attracts and hires talent. This role leads a team of recruiters who primarily hire for our plasma donation centers-both center leadership and donor floor roles-while personally taking on some full-cycle corporate recruiting. The Recruiting Lead will focus on continuously improving the systems, processes, and tooling that make hiring faster, more consistent, more measurable, and more cost effective.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of recruiters who own full-cycle hiring for our plasma donation centers, including center leadership and donor floor roles, partnering closely with ops leadership and our center directors.
  • Personally own full-cycle corporate recruiting as a hands-on recruiter and trusted advisor to corporate hiring managers across functions (~15 roles / year).
  • Continuously improve the recruiting engine, diagnosing where processes break down and redesigning workflows, tooling, and reporting so hiring scales without losing speed or quality.
  • Identify where automation and AI can enhance recruiting outcomes, and implement solutions that streamline sourcing, screening, and pipeline management.
  • Set the strategy for high-volume field hiring, establishing time-to-fill and quality-of-hire benchmarks and ensuring consistent execution at every location.
  • Define and measure recruiting efficacy and ROI, including funnel metrics, source effectiveness, and cost per hire, and hold the recruiting team accountable to those metrics.
  • Own the recruiting technology ecosystem (ATS, sourcing tools, analytics) and related vendor management.
  • Manage the recruiting budget, including new strategies and experiments to find even more cost-effective ways to build top of funnel.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Drive Impact: Use sound judgment to prioritize and deliver meaningful outcomes independently
  • You find the problem in the data and act on it, ruthlessly prioritizing against the dynamic hiring needs of the business.

Create Scale: Automate, systematize, and refine processes to scale your impact
  • You see recruiting as a system, not a series of one-off reqs; you fix root causes and build repeatable processes, tooling, and automation

Collaborate: Support, unblock, and amplify the work of the team and those around you
  • You bring positive, can-do energy and high EQ, coaching the recruiting team through the growing pains of a startup and building trusted relationships with key stakeholders that unblock hiring and amplify collective results.

Ideal candidates will have experience recruiting in regulated industries and startup/hyper-growth experience, including high-volume field or hourly hiring.

Education and Experience
  • 8+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting or talent acquisition, with a minimum of 2 years managing teams, ideally in an industry with an operational footprint (i.e., non-Saas)

Work Environment:
  • In-office at our Headquarters in Austin, TX

Benefits
  • Significant career growth opportunities in a fast-scaling environment
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Competitive pay
