Full Job Description
Series A robotics startup building autonomous systems for critical infrastructure is looking for a Recruiting Coordinator to join their in-house recruiting team as they scale quickly. In this role, you'll own scheduling and candidate communication end to end, prep materials and briefings ahead of interviews and onsite work trials, coordinate logistics for candidates visiting the office, and keep the pipeline moving so nothing falls through the cracks. You'll work closely with the founding recruiter and hiring managers, acting as the connective tissue that keeps a high-volume, fast-moving process organized and candidate-friendly. There's real room to grow here too, as you build trust, there's an opportunity to take on more sourcing responsibility over time. Someone who is sharp, resourceful, and genuinely curious about recruiting as a craft and comfortable thinking on their feet. Previous recruiting coordination experience is a plus but not required, intellectual horsepower and hunger to learn matter more. This is an in-office role, 5 days/week, based in San Francisco. 100-160K DOE.

Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling and coordination across a high-volume interview pipeline, keeping candidates, interviewers, and hiring managers aligned and on track.
  • Prep candidates ahead of interviews and onsite work trials, including sending materials, briefing logistics, and answering questions along the way.
  • Follow up with candidates in a timely, professional manner throughout the process.
  • Partner closely with the recruiting team to flag gaps, solve problems proactively, and keep the pipeline moving without anything slipping through the cracks.
  • Take on light sourcing support as capacity allows, with room to grow into a more well-rounded recruiting function over time.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a recruiting coordinator or similarly operational role is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong intellectual horsepower and the ability to think on your feet in unconventional, fast-paced conversations.
  • Excellent organizational skills and follow-through, with the ability to manage many moving pieces at once.
  • Genuine curiosity about the recruiting craft and a real interest in the industry the company operates in.
  • Comfortable operating with high agency and minimal oversight, taking initiative to connect dots and get things done.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-intensity environment and is excited to be part of an early-stage team.
  • Willing and able to work long hours in office five days a week, and to complete a work trial as part of the hiring process.
  • Comfortable with everyday scheduling and recruiting tools (ATS, calendaring, etc.).
