Full Job Description
What This Role Is

We're looking for an experienced Senior Reconstruction Project Manager to lead reconstruction projects from initial inspection through final completion.

This is not a position for someone who simply coordinates subcontractors or manages a schedule from behind a desk. We're looking for someone who understands construction, restoration, insurance, customer service, and project profitability at a high level. Someone who can confidently inspect a complex loss, build trust with customers, develop and execute a clear project plan, negotiate effectively with carriers and subcontractors, and ensure each job is completed to Paul Davis standards while achieving target margins.

You will own the outcome of each reconstruction project, including the customer experience, scope accuracy, estimating oversight, insurance negotiations, subcontractor performance, schedule, quality, and profitability. You will be responsible for ensuring every estimate accurately reflects field conditions and supports successful project execution.

As our company continues to grow, this role will also help establish reconstruction standards, mentor team members, improve department processes, and provide leadership across the reconstruction operation.

What You'll Be Responsible For (Job Responsibilities)

  • Own reconstruction projects from initial inspection through final completion.
  • Perform detailed initial field inspections of residential and commercial properties.
  • Educate residential customers and commercial clients on repair methodology, insurance processes, timelines, and expectations.
  • Build trust and confidence with customers through professionalism and expertise.
  • Develop complete scopes of repair for projects ranging from small residential repairs to complex residential and commercial large-loss claims.
  • Work closely with Estimating team to ensure estimates are accurate and optimized.
  • Review estimates and estimate submissions utilizing Xactimate, Xactanalysis and Symbility (Claims Workspace) to support negotiations.
  • Minimize unnecessary estimate and supplement revision cycles through complete documentation and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Build productive relationships with adjusters, reviewers, and TPAs while professionally advocating for appropriate claim settlements.
  • Identify and pursue supplemental opportunities.
  • Negotiate pricing and manage subcontractor performance.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, quality, and profitability.
  • Partner with Mitigation, Contents, and Accounting teams for a seamless customer journey.
  • Drive exceptional customer satisfaction throughout every project.
  • Lead by example with ownership, accountability, and professionalism.
  • Represent Paul Davis professionally throughout every interaction.

  • Estimates are accurate, complete, and require minimal revisions.
  • Supplemental opportunities are consistently identified and successfully negotiated.
  • Strong, professional relationships are maintained with carriers, TPAs, and subcontractors.
