Primary Function
Under general supervision researches, updates, prepares and maintains property ownership records, maps, legal descriptions and related documents; negotiates contract land agreements; finalizes and records documents regarding district and private properties in conformance with state, local and district rules and regulations; maintains database of property records to provide data for internal and external stakeholders, project proponents and developers. Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with major in Business Administration or related degree and four years of directly related experience in preparation of land title resolution, property management, acquisition, disposition for a public agency, utility or large institution.
Progressively responsible directly related experience may be substituted for the required education at the ratio of two years of experience for one year of education required directly related experience in preparation of land title resolution, property management, acquisition, disposition for a public agency, utility or large institution.
Special Skills/Requirements:
Experience with legal description preparation including conveyances, easements, rights-of-way, and boundary line adjustments and title curative procedures to resolve defects or issues in a real estate title is preferred.
Licensing & Certification Requirements
Veteran's Preference (External Applicants Only): Submit DD form 214 or other evidence of veterans' status by the job posting deadline.
