At Texas Instruments, Ramp Execution Engineers play a critical role in helping the factory grow by turning complex install plans into coordinated, visible, and executable reality.
In this role, you will join a highly collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment where you will help drive tool install execution, improve ramp visibility, and strengthen the systems that support future factory growth. We are looking for an engineer who brings direct semiconductor tool install management experience, thrives on cross-functional execution, and is motivated to improve how work gets done through ownership, organization, and practical system-building.
We are looking for someone who not only brings strong install coordination and project discipline, but also demonstrates initiative, urgency, curiosity, strong follow-through, and a desire to build long-term value for TI through better tools, stronger processes, and clearer execution visibility.
Responsibilities include:- Drive day-to-day execution of semiconductor tool installs to keep work moving against schedule to enable factory capacity
- Work closely with TI engineering teams, facilities, vendors, procurement, and Finance to coordinate install progress and remove roadblocks quickly
- Lead install execution reviews to track status, surface pinch points, communicate schedule changes, and drive recovery actions
- Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day execution issues impacting install progress
- Support clear communication of install progress, risks, and execution status to engineering teams and leadership as needed
- Improve tracking systems and execution visibility to highlight install status, schedule risk, cost concerns, and areas requiring intervention
- Build practical tools, reports, systems, or web-based utilities that improve the speed, accuracy, and visibility of install execution and cost tracking
- Drive continuous improvement across ramp execution processes so the factory is better prepared for future fabs and future install cycles
- Lead capital purchase execution working with Procurement and the Capital Finance team
- Partner with Procurement and Finance to update purchase orders when schedule changes require shifts in timing or delivery need dates
- Work with procurement to help ensure capital purchases arrive on time and stay aligned to factory ramp needs
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:- Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Electrical Computer Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Physics or related engineering degree
- 2+ years of direct experience leading semiconductor tool installations
Preferred Qualifications:- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong Excel skills and the ability to build clear PowerPoint presentations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and directly across multiple stakeholder groups
- Ability to take initiative, drive results, and operate with a high level of ownership in an interrupt-driven, fast-paced environment
- Experience working across semiconductor engineering, facilities, vendor install teams, procurement, and finance in a high-paced manufacturing environment
- Experience with equipment configuration decisions and/or capital equipment purchasing
- Experience managing quotes, purchase requests, purchase order updates, and delivery coordination tied to changing schedule needs
- Demonstrated ability to build practical tools, reports, and systems that improve the speed, accuracy, and visibility of install execution, cost tracking, and schedule management
- Demonstrated ability to identify manual or inefficient workflows and turn them into simpler, faster, and more accurate execution tools
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across functions and build strong, influential relationships
- Demonstrated ability to drive execution while also improving the systems and processes that support long-term factory performance
