Position Overview:The Interventional Radiology Physician will provide onsite clinical services to eligible veterans at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System. The physician will perform a full range of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures and support the VA's mission of delivering high-quality healthcare to veterans.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a full scope of Interventional Radiology procedures, including arterial, venous, and vascular access interventions.
- Provide diagnostic interpretation and treatment planning for radiologic procedures.
- Deliver direct patient care and clinical consultation to VA physicians and clinical teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the VA electronic health record system.
- Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination when required.
- Adhere to all VA policies regarding patient safety, privacy, and infection control.
Required Qualifications- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
- Board Certified in Radiology (American Board of Radiology)
- Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
- Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
- Current DEA registration
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
