Position Overview:


The Interventional Radiology Physician will provide onsite clinical services to eligible veterans at the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System. The physician will perform a full range of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures and support the VA's mission of delivering high-quality healthcare to veterans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a full scope of Interventional Radiology procedures, including arterial, venous, and vascular access interventions.
  • Provide diagnostic interpretation and treatment planning for radiologic procedures.
  • Deliver direct patient care and clinical consultation to VA physicians and clinical teams.
  • Maintain accurate documentation within the VA electronic health record system.
  • Participate in clinical discussions, case reviews, and multidisciplinary coordination when required.
  • Adhere to all VA policies regarding patient safety, privacy, and infection control.
Required Qualifications
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certified in Radiology (American Board of Radiology)
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • Current DEA registration
  • National Provider Identifier (NPI)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
